Hotbar to Create and License Private Label Toolbar Technology for Two Popular DADA-Owned Communities


June 28, 2001 (New York, NY & Florence, Italy) - Hotbar.com, Inc.(www.hotbar.com), creators of the popular Hotbar toolbar browser enhancement which gives users instant one click access anywhere on the Web to the Internet's finest goods and services, announced today a strategic partnership with DADA SpA, a founding site on the Italian Internet which provides technological solutions and services for "living on the Web."

Through the partnership, Hotbar will create and license Private Label Toolbars for two of the DADA-owned communities - superEva (www.supereva.it), the popular Italian portal and Aziende (www.aziende.it), Dada's business-to-business community.

By integrating the existing technology in the two community portals, DADA will now be able to offer new solutions and services tailored to the specific user, including personalized content and quick access to that content anywhere, anytime, on any device. With just one click, superEva and Aziende.it members can access offers from DADA or its partners, instantly make e-commerce transactions, downloads or launch the powerful search engine.

This initiative represents an important step in the development and application of diversified and high-value added subscription services. At the same time, it provides users with a new online experience and a greater capability to exploit the Net's potential.

For DADA the Hotbar solution represents a significant contribution to optimizing content management; the partnership will yield more online traffic and contribute to the overall success of the portals, while at the same time stimulating user loyalty through exposure to a single brand while surfing various sites.
