New York, NY, June 6, 2002.Hotbar, an Internet company dedicated to customizing and maximizing the Web's interactive potential, announced today the release of its new email toolbar.

Users of Outlook and Outlook Express can now add Hotbar's customized email toolbar to their current static toolbars. The customization includes options to add a variety of backgrounds to the user's entire email, send FREE e-cards directly from email, add emoticons to emails, insert animations throughout the text, use pre-written text specialized for certain occasions, and create business cards for inclusion in the user's emails. The addition of the Outlook toolbar represents an expansion of the company's core product – the Smart Toolbar -- a patent pending add-on that brings the entire Internet to the user's browser. The Smart Toolbar categorizes over 2.5 million sites into over 2,000 major categories and over 200,000 sub-categories. While browsing, the toolbar's Smart Buttons adjust to provide information relevant to the site that the user is currently surfing.

"Building on the success of Hotbar's Smart Toolbar, we are opening a new avenue of creativity for Outlooks users," said Oren Dobronsky, Co-founder and CEO of Hotbar. "By providing visuals that improve the look and feel of Outlook, Hotbar is enhancing the interactive experience both for the senders of emails, as well as the receivers."
