Hotbar Media Buying Director
Hotbar.com is a 6-year-old stable and profitable leader in the Online Contextual Advertising space including a Network of advertisers and publishers. We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic Media Buying Director to lead the Network side of our business and drive measurable results.
Qualifications:
- Highly motivated self-starter

- Strong communication and negotiation skills – phone, IM and e-mail

Responsibilities:
- Understand the current status of Hotbar’s Network business and goals, strategize ways to reach the set goals while constantly reevaluating and monitoring performance
- Maintain and expand Network’s ad-serving solutions through constant work with the trafficking team
- Act both as a Senior Media buyer handling a portfolio of publisher accounts and as a Director for Media Buyers, overseeing their activity
- Contact relevant publishers, negotiate media buying deals and maintain publishers’ campaigns
- Research market for new potential publishers and expansion opportunities
- Assign tasks to the Media Buyers, prioritize and oversee activity.
- Analyze both specific publishers’ and Networks’ performance using mostly Excel tools. Guide Analysis team to assist on routine quality reports.
- Oversee and perform changes in both publisher campaigns and Network structure to assure performance and volume goals are met
- Work with the Sales team on recommendations for advertising clients based on analysis of publisher network

Director of International Sales
Hotbar.com, a 6-year-old stable and profitable leader in the Online Contextual Advertising space, is looking for a Director of International Sales. The Director of International Sales will be responsible for developing a strategy for international media sales and will generate new business from online advertisers in markets outside of the United States. Key markets include Europe, Asia, South America and Australia. They will be the primary contact for international advertising programs and execute market by market plans for expanding sales. We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic sales professional that has strong business development orientation that will take international sales to the next level. The position will report directly to the CEO.
Candidate should have:
High level of diplomacy and understanding of international market dynamics and trends.
Internet media sales experience a must.
The ability to manage international clients including direct advertisers and agencies.
Results-oriented mindset to identify tangible metrics that get exceeded.
The ability to effectively manage relationships both internally and externally and the ability to integrate existing sales practices into the design of an international sales process.
Innovative spirit to identify new offers and practices specific to geographies.
The ideal candidate will have a roster of international contacts, management experience, as well as Business Development skills.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for identifying key markets outside of the United States and generating new online media business in territories including Europe, Asia, South America and Australia.
- Strategize for long term growth, decide upon action plan for developing non US markets, establish, train and grow partnerships outside of the United States.
- Integrate into current Sales environment, offer added leadership, and develop new procedures that accommodate unique needs of international markets.

Responsibilities will include generating new online advertising accounts through their existing relationship and through prospecting new leads, meeting aggressive revenue sales objectives, and managing accounts for growth.

- Solid cold calling expertise and strong closing skills
- Strong negotiator responsible for renewals, upselling, and new product presentations.

Systems Administrator
Hotbar.com is a very profitable Internet advertising company with strong and stable financials. Hotbar.com is looking for a Mid-level Systems Administrator who will be responsible for managing the infrastructure needs of the corporate office as well as assisting the administrator of the server farm. This job is available for immediate placement.
Responsibilities:
- Individual will be responsible for the maintenance and administration of the corporate office as well as acting as a second Sys admin for an internet server farm with over 200 servers.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of Win 2000/2003 system administration
- Exposure to Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory.
- Familiar with server hardware platforms.
- Knowledge in Linux - advantage.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be service oriented, able to resolve the simplest of computer needs in the office environment as well as handling more complex issues in the server farm. Since the server farm is a 24/7 environment, the candidate could be required to work during non-office hours including nights and weekends.
